Challenge Island Challenge Island is a whimsical, wildly popular enrichment program that promotes creative and critical thinking skills. Loosely based on a well-known reality TV show, Challenge Island utilizes cooperative tribes in which students take on a vast array of exciting challenges set on action-packed thematic "islands." Challenge Island's innovative programming reinforces STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) and core language arts skills. Every Challenge Island unit will take place on a unique thematic Island such as Shark Tooth, Amusement Park, Penguin Party and Beach Party. We always have an exciting central theme weaving the weeks and activities together. The Challenge Island camp, held at The Friends School of Atlanta, is for students ages 5–12.
