Apogee Scholarship Fund
Posted November 30, 2011
The Friends School of Atlanta (FSA) works with the Apogee Scholarship Fund, a Student Scholarship Organization that administers Georgia’s independent school tax credit scholarship program. This program offers a unique opportunity for you or your company to redirect your tax dollars to provide tuition assistance for new FSA students coming from public schools or just entering pre-kindergarten, kindergarten or first grade. Individual filers can contribute up to $1,000, joint filers up to $2,500, and c-corps up to 75% of GA tax liability. You will receive a dollar-for-dollar GA tax credit for the amount of your contribution. If you pay your taxes throughout the year, you can still participate. Please click here for more detailed information on the program as well as step-by-step instructions for your participation. Thank you for your generosity and consideration of this program. Please note, redirecting your state taxes to The Friends School of Atlanta does not count as support for FSA’s all-important Annual Appeal.

FSA Co-op
Posted August 15, 2011
The whole school community is invited to participate in FSA's Co-op, by ordering fresh, organic produce from Nature's Garden Delivered, a local organic delivery service. FSA school location is the host bi-weekly drop off point for everyone participating to pick up their orders. The great thing about this community project is that we will all be reducing our carbon footprint by being environmentally friendly, plus eating good quality organic food together. How does it work? You simply sign up to choose from a variety of box sizes that suit your budget and family needs. The flexible and convenient menu style selection of produce items differ each week depending on seasonable availability. Then you can choose if you would like fruit only, veggies only or a mixed selection and importantly when you would like to receive your box, cancel your order or delay service with absolutely no obligation by contacting Nature Delivered directly. All orders are paid individually by accessing a safe and secured online payment website http://ga.naturesgardendelivered.com If you are interested please contact Fiona Thompson at fionact@att.net or call 404-373-8746 ext 8130 for further information.
