Welcome to The Friends School of Atlanta, a school dedicated to nurturing academic excellence through Quaker values. 

At The Friends School of Atlanta, our guiding principles are rooted in the Religious Society of Friends, commonly known as Quakers. These principles,—simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality, and stewardship (SPICES)—form the foundation of our educational philosophy and community life. 

Our mission is to nurture the intellectual, emotional and spiritual development of each student. We believe in educating the whole child by fostering a love of learning, encouraging critical thinking and instilling a strong sense of social responsibility. Our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to creating a supportive yet challenging learning environment where every student is encouraged to explore their passions, develop their unique talents, and grow into compassionate and responsible global citizens.

In addition to our robust academic program, we offer a variety of co-curricular activities that foster creativity, critical thinking, and personal growth. From hands-on projects in our Innovation Lab to environmental education, world language studies, arts, music, drama, health, and physical education, these programs are integral to developing well-rounded individuals. Each activity is designed to inspire students, helping them discover their passions and grow into confident, capable contributors to the world. 

Community is at the heart of our school. We value the relationships we build with our students, families and the community.
