Student Support
At The Friends School of Atlanta, we value neurodiversity and recognize it as a vital strength within our community. Embracing the unique ways in which each mind processes and understands the world enriches our collective experience. By valuing neurodiversity, we create an inclusive environment where all students can thrive. This approach not only supports individual growth but also fosters empathy, innovation, and collaboration, benefiting the entire community.
Our teachers aim to understand these learning needs and create educational activities and instruction that meet all students where they are. Teachers are supported by weekly team meetings with the learning specialists, counselor and Elementary/Middle School Head where strategies are discussed to support all of our students.
